Two spacious Queen bedrooms, indulgent bed linen, tastefully furnished and styled to embrace the peace of your surrounds. A quaint and delightful country kitchen space where all your needs for a perfect stay await you, all overlooking spectacular garden scenes comprising ancient magnolias, maples, and Rhododendron trees, carpeted by lush filled garden beds spreading to the edges of the property where you will find reading nooks. 

The spacious living area with beautiful natural light shining through expansive garden windows and French doors that open to a huge sunbathed deck. Everything is provided for you to enjoy the magnificent garden - lay in a hammock, stretch out on the rug or just find the perfect spot to sit and listen to the sounds of nature while bathing in the lovely morning sunshine. 

In the cooler months enjoy our beautiful fire pit & toast marshmallows, roast spuds in their jackets, or listen to the crackle of the flame and feel inner peace.

Close to Olinda & the villages of Mt Dandenong, good dining abounds nearby. Don't miss a visit to Butlers in Mt Dandenong (a favourite of ours) - or Cloudehill Gardens.

Magnolias on Mernda offers the perfect setting and the beginning to special moments created for your wedding celebration or event. The beautiful gardens and surrounds provide ample on site photo opportunities for you and your wedding crew. The brightly lit sunroom/front room is brimming with natural light perfect for make-up artists and hairstylists to get you ready for your big day. The fully self-sufficient kitchen is perfect for meal prep and pre-wedding catering.

Formal events where multiple people (numbers capped at 10 people in total at the property) are attending require planning ahead of time in order for the space to be set up to meet your needs and is subject to an extra fee. There is a function fee payable of $600.00 on top of the accommodation tariff.  The convenient location of Magnolias on Mernda to many of the Yarra ranges top wedding destinations means a low stress day for you and a short drive to your venue of choice. Magnolias on Mernda is the perfect oasis to return to when you’re riding the high of celebrating your big day. The private location enables you to lock out the world and remain in the love bubble for as long as possible!

Wood Fire Policy: From the beginning of the declared fire danger season (generally December to as late as May, subject to change) we will not be providing firewood or setting fireplaces/fire pits. Please enquire for more details. It is also prohibited on windy and Total Fire Ban days at any time of the year. Please see www.cfa.vic.gov.au/home The collection and burning of twigs, leaves and branches from outside your accommodation is strictly forbidden at anytime.
